Director of Infrastructure

The Role:

The Director of Infrastructure will provide strategic leadership and oversight of key business support functions, namely, Operations, Technology and Logistics (Transport and Food Catering). The role's core mandate is to build and sustain an efficient, effective, and future-ready support infrastructure that consistently delivers the highest standards of service to the school community.

Reporting to the CFO/COO, with a dotted line to the CEO, the Director of Infrastructure will also serve as a member of the Whole School Leadership Team, contributing to the school's overall strategic direction and playing a pivotal role in shaping and delivering its long-term Master Plan. This newly created position calls for a visionary and highly proactive leader who can unite diverse departments behind shared goals and ensure seamless collaboration across functions. The role will be expected to combine strategic oversight with hands-on execution, ensuring that infrastructure and special projects are delivered to the highest standard, on time, and in alignment with the school's long-term aspirations.

Requirements:

• A recognised degree in Engineering, Architecture, Estate Management, Business Administration, Finance & Accounting, Computer Science or a related field MBA or post graduate degree, particularly in strategic leadership and financial/operational oversight will have an added advantage.
• Significant relevant experience in a comparable senior leadership role (10+ years), with a proven track record of managing complex infrastructure and large-scale project portfolios.
• Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, with strong communication and presentation skills.
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel).
