Director of Group Strategy

The Position:

A globally active investment platform is seeking to appoint a Director of Group Strategy to join a lean, senior internal strategy function. The role works closely with top management on complex, group-wide strategic and capital allocation decisions across multiple geographies.

The position involves direct engagement with senior leaders to assess business performance, set strategic priorities and drive a small number of high-impact initiatives. It calls for sound judgement, intellectual rigour and the ability to operate credibly at senior leadership level, with genuine influence over critical business and investment decisions.

The environment is international and demanding, with a strong emphasis on strategic thinking, sound governance and clear, precise communication in senior forums.

Skills & Experience:

Candidates will come from top-tier strategy consulting (McKinsey, BCG or Bain) and will have progressed beyond pure advisory work into roles requiring ownership, judgement and execution. Strong cross-border exposure is essential, alongside a solid grounding in financial analysis, strategic evaluation and commercial value creation. Success in this role requires strategic sharpness, an execution mindset and the confidence to engage constructively and credibly with senior leadership teams across cultures and markets.
