Role Description
The Director of Digital Transformation is responsible for leading enterprise-wide digital initiatives to improve efficiency, customer experience, and business performance. This role drives the adoption of digital technologies, process automation, and data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key responsibilities typically include:
- Developing and executing the digital transformation strategy aligned with business goals
- Leading large-scale transformation programs (cloud, automation, AI, data, ERP, etc.)
- Identifying opportunities to digitize and optimize business processes
- Overseeing cross-functional teams including IT, operations, product, and business units
- Managing transformation budgets, timelines, risks, and ROI tracking
- Driving change management and digital adoption across the organization
- Collaborating with senior leadership and stakeholders to prioritize initiatives
- Evaluating and implementing new technologies and digital platforms
- Monitoring KPIs and ensuring measurable business impact
Qualifications (Must-have)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 10–15+ years of experience in IT, digital transformation, or enterprise program leadership
- Strong experience in leading large-scale transformation or modernization projects
- Deep understanding of digital technologies (cloud, data platforms, automation, AI/ML)
- Proven leadership in cross-functional and global environments
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Experience managing complex budgets and enterprise programs
- Strong problem-solving and change management capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Master's degree in Business, Technology, or related field
- Experience in consulting (e.g., Big 4 or management consulting firms)
- Certifications in Agile, PMP, or digital transformation frameworks
- Experience in industries such as banking, fintech, telecom, or large enterprises
- Familiarity with platforms like SAP, Salesforce, Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Strong background in data analytics, AI implementation, or enterprise architecture
