We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Business Development Director to lead our expansion across Southeast Asia. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, builds strategic relationships, and drives revenue growth through new market opportunities.
As Director of Business Development, you will oversee Green Shoes Pte. Ltd. operational integrity and strategic growth. You will also oversee marine operations, spearhead new market expansion, ensure quality and regulatory compliance, manage financial and commercial outcomes, and guide a growing regional team.
Build Strategic Partnerships: Forge and nurture relationships with brands, agencies, media platforms, and influencers to drive new business and collaborative opportunities.
Drive Revenue Growth: Develop and manage a pipeline of high-value clients, delivering tailored digital media and content solutions that align with client goals.
Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and untapped opportunities in the digital media landscape.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with content, creative, and operations teams to deliver exceptional client experiences and ensure seamless execution.
Client Acquisition & Retention: Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing, and ensure long-term client satisfaction and retention.
Travel & On-the-Ground Presence: Travel extensively across SEA (up to 60% of the time) to meet clients, attend events, and establish local partnerships.
10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client management within the digital media, advertising, or content creation industry.
Proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding market presence in Southeast Asia.
Strong network of contacts in the media, advertising, and brand marketing sectors across SEA.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel frequently (60%+ of the time) across SEA.
