This is a high-impact opportunity for a commercially driven professional to play a key role in expanding the companys footprint through build-to-suit data centre solutions.

Role Overview

The Business Development Director will identify and pursue new project opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and attract single-tenant clients seeking custom-built data centre infrastructure. The successful candidate will bring deep industry knowledge, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage complex deals from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activity, and client needs
• Source and develop new hyperscale data centre opportunities, including build-to-suit projects
• Generate leads and secure new clients requiring bespoke data centre solutions
• Build and maintain relationships with potential tenants, vendors, and industry stakeholders
• Develop and execute strategic growth plans to expand market presence and revenue
• Prepare and deliver pitches, proposals, and negotiate commercial contracts
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery

Candidate Profile

• Demonstratable knowledge on the North Asia and Japan Data Centre Markets
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or client management
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Strategic mindset with commercial acumen
• In-depth understanding of the data centre industry, with particular experience of hyperscale and build-to-suit models required
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
