Role Overview

The Director of Air & Ocean Freight will be responsible for leading and expanding the company's Singapore and Malaysia business, with full accountability for commercial performance, operations, and people management. This role requires a strong leader with extensive management and/or sales experience in the logistics or supply chain industry, capable of driving sustainable growth while ensuring operational excellence and compliance with global standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the Singapore and Malaysia business in alignment with global corporate objectives
• Drive revenue growth through business development, key account management, and sales strategy execution
• Represent the company in the Singapore and Malaysia market and support regional expansion initiatives as required
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, service quality, and cost control across logistics functions
• Manage and develop the local team, fostering a high‑performance and results‑driven culture
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and global governance standards
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance reports for regional and global management

Requirements

• 10–15 years of relevant management and/or sales experience, preferably within the logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry
• Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven track record of leading teams and driving business growth in a competitive market
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in P&L management
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate effectively in a global, matrix‑driven organization
• Strong understanding of the Singapore and Malaysia market; experience working with multinational companies is highly preferred
• Fluency in English is required
