About the role:
We are seeking a highly experienced KYC / CLM Technology Implementation Leader to lead enterprise transformation initiatives for client onboarding, KYC operations, lifecycle management, and regulatory technology programs within institutional and corporate banking environments.
This is a senior leadership role requiring a strong combination of banking domain expertise, regulatory understanding, process transformation capability, and technology delivery leadership.
The successful candidate will drive large-scale implementations of Client Lifecycle Management platforms, streamline onboarding operations, improve compliance controls, and enhance client experience through digital transformation.
Candidates with strong exposure to Fenergo or similar CLM platforms will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Program and Transformation Leadership:
- Lead end-to-end implementation of KYC / CLM transformation programs across multiple business units and geographies.
- Define program roadmap, milestones, resource plans, governance model, and delivery framework.
- Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, dependencies, and risks.
- Drive execution excellence across internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders.
KYC/ CLM Platform Delivery
- Lead implementation, enhancement, or migration of Client Lifecycle Management platforms.
- Manage onboarding workflows, KYC periodic reviews, trigger events, remediation, and client data maintenance.
- Support configuration and optimisation of:
- Appian
- Pega Platform
- Equivalent workflow / BPM solutions
- Fenergo (preferred)
Regulatory & Compliance Enablement :
- Translate regulatory obligations into system controls and workflow requirements.
- Ensure alignment to Singapore and international AML/KYC expectations.
- Support internal audit, regulatory reviews, remediation programs, and control enhancements.
- Partner Compliance and Risk teams to strengthen governance frameworks.
Process Re-engineering & Automation :
- Analyse current-state onboarding and lifecycle processes.
- Identify opportunities to reduce turnaround times, eliminate manual intervention, and improve controls.
- Drive automation, workflow digitisation, and straight-through processing initiatives.
- Improve user experience for both internal teams and external clients.
Stakeholder Management
- Engage senior leadership across Business, Operations, Compliance, Risk, and Technology.
- Prepare governance reports, steering committee updates, and executive dashboards.
- Act as a bridge between functional users and technical teams.
- Manage third-party vendors, consultants, and implementation partners.
Data Governance & Integration :
- Define client data ownership, governance, quality controls, and golden source strategy.
- Oversee integrations with:
- Core banking systems
- AML / screening platforms
- CRM platforms
- Document management systems
- Reporting tools
- Lead data migration, cleansing, reconciliation, and testing activities.
Education Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Business, or related discipline.
- Postgraduate qualification or MBA is advantageous.
Experience :
- 12 to 18 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience in financial services, banking technology, or consulting environments.
- Proven track record leading large-scale transformation or platform implementation programs.
- Strong domain knowledge in:
- KYC / AML / CDD / EDD
- Client onboarding
- Corporate / Institutional Banking
- Regulatory operations
- Client Lifecycle Management
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with one or more of the following:
- Fenergo (strongly preferred)
- CLM platforms
- BPM / Workflow tools
- API integrations
- ETL / data migration tools
- Agile delivery tools
