Director, HRBP - (Confidential Search)
Frazer Jones is exclusively partnering with a leading organisation with a strong regional and international footprint to appoint a seasoned Director, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP). This is a permanent, full-time position based in Singapore with responsibility for leading a team of driven HRBPs (5 reports) to drive and support HR and broader organization-wide transformation plans. This is a high-impact HR leadership role within a well-structured HR function (still with room for improvement and growth), responsible for driving strategic people partnering initiatives, organisational effectiveness, and workforce transformation. The successful candidate will play a critical role and serve as a trusted deputy and advisor to the CHRO.
Key Responsibilities
This role will lead the HR Business Partnering agenda across multiple business units, partnering closely with senior leadership teams to align people strategies with commercial objectives. You will provide strategic guidance on organisational design, workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, leadership development, and employee engagement initiatives.
The role calls for the excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence and collaborate across a highly matrixed and international environment. You will partner closely with the other HR Centres of Excellence to deliver integrated people solutions. In addition, a key component of the role will be leading, coaching, and developing a team of dedicated and high-performingHR Business Partners, driving capability building, succession planning, and a high-performance culture within the HR function.
Ideal Profile
As a guideline, the client is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner lead with at least 15 years of progressive HR experience, including significant experience operating at a leadership level (i.e. you have managed direct reports) within large organisations. Candidates should possess a strong track record partnering with senior executives and business leaders within B2B sectors, and experience from various sectors such as Semiconductors, Engineering, Industrial, Manufacturing, as Pharmaceuticals will be well-regarded. Given the highly visible and stakeholder-facing nature of the role, candidates must possess exceptional communication and influencing skills.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate deep expertise across organisational development, talent management, workforce planning, leadership coaching, and business transformation. Experience working within complex, matrixed organisations undergoing growth, change, M&A activity, or organisational transformation will also be advantageous. As mentioned prior, proven people leadership experience, including managing and developing HR teams, is essential.
