Director, HR Business Partnering | Singapore‑Headquartered Organization | Leads a Team

Frazer Jones is exclusively appointed on a confidential basis to appoint a Director, HR Business Partnering for a Singapore‑headquartered organisation with a strong and well‑established presence in its sector. This is a permanent, full‑time HR leadership role based in Singapore. Reporting directly to the CHRO, the successful candidate will oversee and develop a team of HR Business Partners, partnering closely with the HR Centres of Excellence on organization‑wide people priorities. This seasoned leadership position will play a pivotal role in elevating HRBP capability, strengthening succession planning, and shaping a future‑ready workforce strategy that supports the organisation's long‑term ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

Notably, one of the key priorities for this role, as identified in alignment with the C-suites team is the ability to drive forward‑looking people strategies as the organisation accelerates its transformation to meet the demands of a digital and AI‑enabled world. What this effectively means is that my client is searching for a seasoned HRBP who not only the genuine curiosity, strategic thinking, and a strong interest in leveraging digital tools/data to modernise ways of working, enhance employee experience, and strengthen organisational capability for the future.

As this role is poised to lead the HR Business Partnering function, you will oversee a team of HRBPs supporting multiple business units. With full visibility across the business, a key mandate of this role is to uplift HRBP advisory depth, enhance the operating rhythm, and ensure the HRBP team are trusted partners to the senior leadership.

As highlighted earlier, key topics including succession planning, leadership development, workforce planning, and talent readiness for future growth are critical. The successful candidate will work closely with the COEs on these areas.

Ideal Profile

The client is seeking a highly experienced HR Business Partnering leader with a strong track record in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments. Experience in a Singapore-headquartered organization, in additional with exposure to Regional or Global contexts would also feature as an advantage.

Candidates should have deep HRBP experience, including prior experience leading and developing HRBPs and partnering directly with senior executives on organisation‑wide people initiatives. As a guideline, candidates should have at least 15 years of HR experience, including proven leadership responsibilities.
