Job Description

Position Summary

The Director, HR Business Partner, serves as a senior strategic HR leader responsible for driving the people agenda across our strategic business units. This role partners closely with business and functional leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals, supporting both regional business growth and enterprise-wide transformation.

The Director leads and develops a high-performing team of HR Business Partners, providing strategic counsel on organizational design & effectiveness, capabilities, talent development, and employee engagement while ensuring alignment with global HR frameworks and compliance with local labor regulations.

Job Responsibilities

HR Leadership

  • Partner with senior leaders to implement HR strategies that enable business growth, organizational agility, and operational excellence
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, providing insight on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, succession, and cultural alignment.
  • Support enterprise initiatives such as culture & leadership development and organizational transformation.
  • Coach senior leaders and high-potential talent on performance, growth, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives, including reorganizations, M&A integration, or operating model shifts.
  • Monitor organizational health through analytics, engagement data, and workforce metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead recruitment activities across the strategic business units.
  • Act as a key link between Corporate and the Strategic business units, ensuring consistent implementation of global initiatives with local adaptation.

PeopleManagement & Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop HRBP.
  • Set clear goals, provide continuous feedback, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Champion a high-performance culture that emphasizes inclusivity, trust, and continuous learning.

KeyAttributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field Master's preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior HRBP or regional leadership capacity.
  • Proven track record of influencing and partnering with senior executives in both regional and corporate environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English and Mandarin
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance global consistency and local relevance.
