Our client is a leading global wholesale bank with a strong Asia presence. As part of its ongoing transformation agenda, the bank is appointing a Head of Operations to lead its wholesale banking operations function, driving efficiency, resilience, and cultural excellence.
This senior leadership role combines run-the-bank accountability with transformation and change delivery, offering the opportunity to shape the operating model while supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end wholesale banking operations, including deals booking, trade settlement, and post-trade processing.
- Drive operational transformation to improve efficiency, scalability, and control.
- Balance business-as-usual operations with project and change initiatives.
- Strengthen governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Partner closely with front-office, risk, technology, and regional stakeholders.
- Build and lead high-performing teams, embedding a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 12+ years experience in wholesale / corporate banking operations within a global or regional bank.
- Proven track record in operational transformation, process optimisation, and change delivery.
- Strategic ability to deliver Asian Operations Strategy whilst driving change management.
- Strong knowledge of loans operations, settlement and transaction processing.
- Demonstrated leadership capability and senior stakeholder management skills.
