Job Description

A onceinacycle opportunity to join SEI as a senior sales leader for our first APAC office, based in Singapore. This role is designed for a proven sales leader who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and will play a pivotal role in shaping SEI's longterm growth across APAC. The successful candidate will be a core member of the founding team equally comfortable setting strategy, originating and closing business, building trusted client relationships, and contributing handson across multiple dimensions of the business.

This strategic, client-facing role will be instrumental to delivering our differentiated client service model to new markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a targeted sales pipeline, owning key client relationships and positioning SEI's value proposition across APAC.

What you will do:

Strategic growth & business development:

  • Build and manage a sales pipeline, targeting strategic opportunities with new fund launches and conversions.
  • Develop and execute a regional growth plan aligned with global priorities, in collaboration with Leadership.
  • Partner with marketing to position SEI's value proposition in APAC; represent SEI in industry forums, events and conferences.
  • Co-ordinate across functions to deliver effective responses to client RFPs.
  • Lead end-to-end sales activities: origination, solutioning, pricing/negotiation, and close Alternative fund administration prospects.

Client relationship ownership & service excellence:

  • Own client relationships post-sale as the primary APAC contact and escalation point, ensuring high-touch, responsive support.
  • Build deep relationships with CFOs, COOs, and other key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to cross-office initiatives, share best practices, and foster a unified culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery.

What we need from you:

  • 10-15 years of sales/BD experience with Executive-level local credibility and established relationships with senior decision makers - both in Singapore and more broadly across key APAC markets.
  • Good understanding of Alternatives fund administration, with private markets experience being a bonus, or transferable experience (e.g. from the GP side).
  • Proven track record leading the sales cycle end-to-end, delivering sustainable year-on-year growth.
  • Demonstrated success building, managing, and converting targeted pipelines; partnering with marketing on business development strategies.
  • Strong commercial acumen, executive communication skills, and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • The successful candidate can expect a reasonable amount of business travel within APAC to meet with clients and prospects.
