The Role
We're aggressively scaling B2B payments with new global licenses, building crypto on/off ramps at our core. Fiat channels underpin everything—breadth and depth dictate our pricing power and market reach. As we storm emerging markets and squeeze costs, we need a channel architect who masters industry plays and forges partnerships that drive outsized growth.
Fiat channel strategies evolve faster than ever—this industry moves that fast. We need someone who truly gets products + users, turning raw channels into killer competitive edges. Expect constant friction (teams, partners, regs, tech), but if you own the chaos and charge through, this role's yours.
What You'll Do
- Design and execute the global fiat channel network strategy: Map optimal access routes (bank direct, local PSPs, remittance networks, clearing rails) across priority markets to unlock new geographies
- Forge and manage executive-level banking & payment partnerships: Secure strategic relationships with banks, PSPs, and remittance providers, engaging decision-makers to drive mutual scale
- Anticipate AI's impact on payments infrastructure: Identify opportunities like intelligent routing, automated risk, channel optimization, and compliance automation, then propose integration roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional channel launches end-to-end: Coordinate Pay/P2P sales, compliance, and product teams to negotiate, onboard, and deploy channels on time
- Deliver actionable industry intelligence: Track leading players channel strategies to inform our investment priorities and competitive positioning
What We're Looking For
Must-haves
- Architected fiat channel networks from scratch across multiple markets, mastering regional infrastructure, regulations, and barriers
- Built and leveraged banking/payment networks in Europe, Southeast Asia, Africa or Latam
- Negotiated and closed strategic banking/payment partnerships with decision-makers
Strong-to-haves
- Experience at crypto exchanges (OTC/Fiat/Pay teams), cross-border payment/remittance platforms, on/off ramp providers, or B2B payment infrastructure firms
- Familiarity with correspondent banking or payment partnerships at banks/fintechs
- Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English
