Director - Finance

Our client ia specialised real estate investment and operating platform focused on the acquisition, repositioning and management of real estate. Moving on, the company is heading into an expanded strategic growth.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director, Finance will lead the Finance function and provide strategic financial leadership to support the company's investment and growth strategy. Working closely with the CEO, the role oversees financial management, capital deployment, liquidity planning, financial reporting and governance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Finance function, ensuring strong financial governance, controls and reporting.

Partner with the CEO to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making and long-term value creation.

Oversee capital and liquidity management, including shareholder equity funding and cashflow planning.

Lead budgeting, financial forecasting and performance monitoring across the business.

Oversee financial reporting, statutory accounts, audit processes and regulatory compliance.

Maintain strong internal controls and financial governance frameworks.

Build and develop a high-performing finance team.

Serve as the primary financial advisor to the CEO and Board on financial strategy, capital management and risk.

You should possess;

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline with CA/CPA qualification.
2. Approx 16-18+ years of relevant experience, preferably within real estate investment, private equity real estate or asset management, with minimum 10 years in a finance leadership role.
3. Strong experience in financial management, capital planning and governance.
4. Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
