- Lead the development and execution of the overall commercial distribution strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Provide vision and direction for commercial distribution networks that drive both short-term and long-term business growth.
Revenue Growth & Market Expansion:
- Identify new commercial opportunities to expand market reach.
- Develop and implement plans for increasing sales, market share and profitability.
Partnership Development:
- Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with brokers, clients, and other stakeholders.
Sales & Marketing Alignment:
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop integrated strategies that align distribution channels with promotional efforts.
- Ensure that distribution strategies support overall brand positioning and marketing campaigns.
Customer Insights & Feedback:
- Monitor and analyze customer feedback and market trends to refine distribution strategies and improve customer satisfaction.
- Use insights to anticipate changes in demand and adjust distribution efforts accordingly.
Financial Management
- Develop and manage Division's budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and achieving financial targets.
- Track KPIs and financial metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of distribution strategies.
People Leadership and Team Development
- Lead organizational employees, fostering a positive and collaborative culture that reflects the company's values and mission.
- Develop and guide a high-performance team in alignment with company strategy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field is required. A master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of solid experience in commercial distribution with prior underwriting and broking leadership roles
- In-depth understanding of sales strategies, market dynamics, and distribution models across various channels
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive strategic initiatives with significant experience in a leadership or senior management role.
- Exceptional people development and leadership qualities with an ability to provide clear roles and direction.
