THE ROLE
Pure Storage is looking for a highly experienced and strategic individual to join our team as the Director, Distribution APJ. This pivotal role requires someone with a deep understanding of the Tech industry, particularly within the data center space. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing global distribution networks, particularly within SaaS, Cybersecurity, or AdTech sectors.

- Pure Storage is looking for an APJ Distribution leader to develop and execute a comprehensive regional distribution strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Leverage extensive experience in the data center space to guide distribution strategies specific to our industry.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.
- Bring a wealth of experience in managing regional distribution networks, having held key roles with a focus in various markets.
- Ensure that distribution models are optimized for each location, taking into account local nuances and challenges.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with distributors regionally, ensuring collaborative and mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Work closely with distributors to address challenges, optimize performance, and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product Development, to align distribution strategies with broader business objectives.
What You'll Need To Bring To This Role...
- Minimum of 7 to 10+ years experience in a senior leadership role within regional distribution, ideally in the data center, SaaS, Cybersecurity, or AdTech sectors.
- Proven experience managing distribution networks on APJ scale..
- In-depth understanding of the data center industry, with a track record of adapting distribution strategies to industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, capable of developing and executing innovative global distribution strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts and strategies to various stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and manage high-performance teams effectively.
