. Provide strategic design direction to ensure all projects meet Aman's brand identity, quality expectations, and operational requirements.
. Oversee multi-disciplinary consultant teams including architecture, interiors, landscape, engineering, and specialist services through all project phases from concept to completion.
. Review design documentation to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and adherence to brand guidelines.
. Lead the end-to-end management of multiple projects, ensuring delivery within approved budgets, schedules, and quality benchmarks.
. Monitor construction progress, review documentation, and oversee procurement processes for FF&E and OS&E, ensuring alignment with design intent.
. Drive quality assurance procedures, including mock-up room evaluations and site inspections.
. Stakeholder Engagement.
. Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with property owners, developers, consultants, contractors, and public agencies.
. Act as the primary liaison for design and technical matters, ensuring transparent communication and alignment on project objectives.
. Present design proposals and project updates to senior leadership and ownership groups for review and approval.
. Prepare and present Initial Project Reviews (IPRs), Design Progress Reviews (DPRs), and Construction Progress Reports (CPRs).
. Provide weekly updates to the Global Head of Design & Technical Services, highlighting progress, key risks, and upcoming priorities.
. Support feasibility studies and early-stage project evaluations to assess design and technical viability.
. Operational & CapEx Support.
. Collaborate with operational teams to ensure new and renovated properties meet long-term operational needs.
. Assist operating properties with CapEx planning, design reviews, and project control for refurbishments or upgrades.
