Director- Data Platform & Engineering

Our client is a leading regional financial services leader with an extensive footprint across Asia. With the continued push in their Data & AI agenda, they are looking for a Data Platform Director to drive & build the next-gen cloud data platform.

Responsibility
This is an exciting leadership role with high visibility at the Group Management level. You are the key advisor of the overall book of work of all data initiatives and programs.

Reporting directly to the APAC CIO, you are the key advisor for all data platform-related initiatives. You will define the strategies, priorities and standards for managing enterprise data (including data governance and data architecture) and ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of the enterprise data management frameworks and policies.

You are also responsible for leading a team of both internal staff and external vendors to ensure successful implementation of the platform.

Requirement
Degree qualified, you will have relevant experience including strategizing the delivery of next generation data architecture (including AI platform), data management, governance, policies and framework. You are a strong communicator, commercial in your approach, with strong track record of functioning at senior stake management level.
