Job Description

The Director of Corporate Communications will focus on reactive communications and press activity for the APAC region. Sitting within our Corporate Communications team, this role will lead the press office function, reporting into the Vice President, Corporate Communications. Responsible for managing media enquiries, maintaining strong relationships with trade and national press, and overseeing day-to-day communications that support Live Nation APAC's reputation across the region. From new client announcements to issue responses, this role is all about delivering timely and accurate communications.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

. Act as the day-to-day lead press office contact for all APAC region media activity.

. Manage reactive communications, including incoming media enquiries, statements and holding lines.

. Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts across entertainment, business and trade press.

. Draft, review and distribute press releases on client wins, platform innovation, executive changes and other company announcements.

. Play a supporting role in issue and crisis management, working across teams and business divisions.

. Lead conference activity, ensuring executives are briefed appropriately for speaking opportunities.

. Monitor media coverage and sentiment, providing insights and summaries to the wider team.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS)

. Extensive experience in a corporate communications or media relations role - preferably within a high-profile, consumer-facing brand or agency.

. Strong understanding of reactive communications, including managing press enquiries and handling sensitive issues.

. Excellent writing and editing skills with proven ability to produce press materials under pressure.

. Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with high visibility.

. Existing relationships across relevant trade, entertainment and business media.

. Experience managing complex stakeholders and working cross-functionally.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

Experience leading corporate, policy, and issues-based communications in highly regulated, consumer-facing industries.

Proven ability to advise C-suite and senior leadership on reputation management, media strategy, and sensitive public issues.

Experience managing complex, high-profile issues involving government, regulators, and public stakeholders across multiple markets.

Strong regional and international media relationships, including Tier 1 business and global press.

Background working in technology, platform, or entertainment ecosystems with high public visibility.

Experience managing regional agency networks and PR budgets across multiple markets.
