Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Planning
. Develop integrated communications, partnership, and fundraising strategies to support SCWO's advocacy, programmes, and long-term sustainability.
Strategic Communications & Public Positioning
. Oversee the development and execution of communications strategies across media, digital platforms, publications, and campaigns.
. Strengthen SCWO's brand, visibility, and public positioning as the national coordinating body for women's organisations in Singapore.
. Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on messaging, stakeholder positioning, and reputation management.
. Oversee media relations and the promotion of SCWO's views through publications, statements, and public communications.
Partnerships & Fundraising
. Develop and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy to build and deepen relationships with corporates, foundations, donors, government agencies, and community partners.
. Lead fundraising strategy development, including corporate partnerships, sponsorships, grants, and donor engagement initiatives.
. Identify and cultivate strategic collaborations and funding opportunities aligned with SCWO's mission and programmes.
. Oversee stewardship frameworks to ensure strong donor relations, accountability, and impact reporting.
People Leadership & Management
Qualifications & Experience
. A recognised degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, Social Sciences, or a related field postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
. At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in communications, partnerships, fundraising, stakeholder engagement, public affairs or related fields, including a minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership or head-of-function role.
. Demonstrated experience in developing and executing organisation-wide communications and partnership strategies.
. Proven track record in fundraising, corporate engagement, sponsorship development, or resource mobilisation.
. Solid experience in media relations, publications, and public-facing communications, including managing sensitive or high-profile issues.
. Experience in the non-profit, advocacy, public sector, or membership-based sector is highly desirable.
. Strong people management experience, with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
. Open for Singaporean or PR only.
