OverviewA private real estate investment and holding platform is seeking a senior Asset Management leader to oversee the performance and strategic direction of a diversified portfolio across multiple markets. This role will be responsible for driving portfolio-level outcomes, enhancing asset value, and supporting investment-related initiatives, while working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead asset-level and portfolio-wide strategies to improve performance and optimise long-term value
- Oversee business plans, operational execution, and performance tracking across assets
- Drive initiatives focused on income growth, cost optimisation, and asset repositioning
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Support portfolio optimisation efforts, including selective disposals and capital redeployment
- Work alongside investment teams on new opportunities, including underwriting support and transaction execution
- Provide oversight on financing-related matters in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Establish and maintain reporting frameworks for senior management and governance purposes
- Lead and mentor asset management teams across different locations
- Collaborate with internal functions and external partners to ensure alignment on asset-level initiatives
Requirements- Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related discipline (postgraduate qualifications advantageous)
- Approximately 12+ years of experience in real estate asset management or related functions
- Demonstrated experience managing portfolios and driving performance outcomes
- Strong financial acumen, including experience with investment metrics and asset-level analysis
- Experience working across multiple markets or asset types is advantageous
- Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders and contribute to strategic decision-making
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Commercially driven, with a hands-on and solutions-oriented mindset
