Your key roles & responsibilities include:
- Support the initiation and promotion of critical projects that serve as prerequisites for huge-scale Core Banking System refresh program (SEIBI), such as implementation of Data Platform and Integration Hub.
- Project Manager and Delivery Lead roles will be separately assigned as specialists for each project, so mainly as the PMO Lead, the responsibility will be to oversee areas other than those aspects.
- Build, promote, and maintain efficient and effective communication with stakeholders from HO, regional offices, branches, and external parties. (Among these, coordination regarding system interface / data mapping specifications across countries and departments is especially important.)
- Manage, promote, and negotiate matters related to budget and contracts, execute internal procedures, and conduct negotiations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare for project approvals and reviews, including creation of AFA and meeting preparations.
- Troubleshoot various issues related to project initiation and promotion.
- In addition to executing the above tasks, also take the lead in negotiating with planning and finance departments at HO and regional offices to drive process optimization and streamlining.
What you should have:
- A Bachelor's Degree.
- At least 10 years of experience in the banking industry.
- Proven project management skills in huge and complicated projects across various countries.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to acquire consensus among stakeholders.
- Business-level proficiency in both the English and Japanese languages will be advantageous as you are required to communicate, read and understand, as well as respond and present to management and Japan (Head Office). This includes system discussions, Q&A meetings, status update meetings, and writing reports to management, etc.
