Job Summary
Global Digital Technologies (GDT) Singapore IT operations team in Wuxi Biologics is responsible for both maintenance of the IT local operations as well as facilitating the global teams to drive digital initiatives at the site level in a way that accelerates business value, improves resilience and raises overall competitiveness.
Responsibilities:
- End user desktop, laptop, phone, and software support including remote users
- Manage and maintain GDT assets and devices in Singapore site
- Support technically Townhall meetings & key events
- Support infrastructure projects that may include, but are not limited to: VoIP deployments, network upgrades, server upgrades, email system upgrades, and application deployments.
- Work with global network administrators and application support staff to ensure user management, customer service, and proper troubleshooting.
- Work with global information security team to ensure security initiatives are implemented promptly on site
- Work with global team to ensure global systems and regional systems are successfully deployed on site and will be responsible to maintain the areas where systems is specific to site.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently as required
- Ability to liaise with global operation team with strong communication skill
- Contributes to the overall operations and to the achievement of departmental goals
- Perform tasks in compliance with applicable Regulations, International Standards, and WuXi Biologics Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform digital information security related tasks and implementation in line with GDT headquarters & industry standards
- Manage and build good relationships with business to drive and implement digital transformation strategies
- Manage and implement Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) systems
- Manage and implement Manufacturing systems
- Perform vendor management
- Trains users on IT Systems and Policies
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5-8 years technological support experience
- Preferred Certification: A+, MCSA or equivalent IT certificates, PMP
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Advanced knowledge of Project Management
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco Configuration
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) knowledge is preferred
- Advanced knowledge of WAN, LAN, VPN, WLAN and Remote Desktop program
- Advanced understanding of networking principles and Microsoft Active Directory
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Strategic thinking ability with strong analytical troubleshooting skills
- Proficient in Oral & Written communication skills
- A positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
- Ability and desire to provide excellent customer service
- Life Science company or Lab working experience is preferred
