Digital Solutions Project Executive - 1 Year Contract

Job Overview

This role supports a major Retail Systems transformation, encompassing POS upgrades, Fleet Card solutions, and mobile app enhancements such as mobile payment integration and connectivity with internal and external systems. The incumbent will play a key role in end‑to‑end project coordination, translating business and user requirements into clear specifications for system development, tracking progress, and maintaining strong project documentation and stakeholder communication. Responsibilities include coordinating across internal teams and external vendors, conducting system and application testing, troubleshooting and escalating system or interface issues, supporting security reviews and software updates, and ensuring smooth system go‑live and rollout to onsite business units. Job Description

• Support Retail Systems projects including POS upgrades, Fleet Card solutions, and mobile app enhancements
• Analyze business and user requirements and translate them into system specifications and statements of work
• Coordinate project activities, timelines, resources, and stakeholders across internal teams and external vendors
• Track project progress, prepare status updates, and maintain project documentation
• Conduct system and application testing; follow up with vendors on defects and outstanding issues
• Assess, troubleshoot, and escalate system, functional, reporting, and API issues as required
• Support user access reviews, security assessments, software patches, and system updates
• Assist with system go‑live, rollout, and onsite business unit support
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• Possess fundamental knowledge of data analysis for Business Intelligence (BI) reporting.
• Good understanding of system development lifecycle methodologies for web and mobile applications. Experience with point‑of‑sale (POS) or payment‑related technologies is highly desirable.
• Possess IT and network troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in project management is an added advantage.
• May be required to work beyond standard office hours to support retail station POS systems.
