What does a (Freelance On-site) Digital Project Manager do at WPP Production
You will be expected to lead and manage digital projects for the South East Asian (SEA) market while bringing together a multi-disciplinary team comprising of internal resources and external resources as required. You will also be expected to implement interactive marketing communications that answers the brief within all the necessary specified style and technical guidelines for our Client. You will work closely with Front-End Developers, Production Designers and QA Engineers on a day-to-day basis and will also need to engage with other cross-functional teams to ensure work is delivered on time, on quality and within budget.
This vacancy is for upcoming short-term projects that will be happening from July - October 2026 and subsequently on freelance basis. Each project is likely to last between 3-5 weeks and would most likely require the team to work full days on-site at the client's office. Ideally, we are looking for long-term freelance partners so there is no end-date in mind
- Manage interactive project resources and production timelines whilst identifying critical path/dependencies to drive projects forward and ensuring quality execution and implementation.
- Point of liaison for interactive infrastructure related programs including (but not limited to) CMS and web development.
- Manage relationships and expectations with global counterparts, regularly keeping key stakeholders informed of the status of projects managed.
- Provide usability insights and click path optimisation recommendations.
- Ensure that information displayed on the Client's regional sites/eDMs are accurate and of high quality.
- Ensure that all digital assets adhere to the Client's global brand guidelines and are consistent throughout all the regional sites/eDMs.
- Ensure that the line manager is always aware of all issues and proposed solutions (including potential delays) to ensure swift resolution and avoid further escalation.
- Act as a brand QC/Guardian - always ensure brand guidelines, QC checklists and procedures are followed.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Hogarth business model, services and technology.
Requirements
- Project management background with at least 3+ years project management experience in a digital agency or digital advertising
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, in English
- Proven experience working for a consumer driven multinational company would be highly advantageous
- Pragmatic, team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and detailed in project documentation, accountability and tracking
- Experience and proficiency in working on both Mac and PC platforms preferred
- The ability to function productively under a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- High level of IT literacy, including usage of spreadsheets
- Prioritisation, time management and attention to detail
- Resilience and ability to work under pressure
- Highly organised, detail oriented, customer focused, proactive
- Possess technical understanding of mobile and web technologies necessary to run projects and convey details. Examples would be:HTML5 / CSS / Javascript
