Job Description: Digital Marketing Executive (Paid Ads & Content Creation)

Position Overview

Are you obsessed with the latest smart gadgets, home automation, and cutting-edge lifestyle tech Do you know exactly how to turn a boring product spec sheet into a viral TikTok or an irresistible Instagram Reel Can you optimise a Meta or Google Ads campaign to drive massive foot traffic and online registrations

We are looking for a high-energy, results-driven Digital Marketing Executive to lead our digital charge for the Smart Home Tech Show. Under our rallying cry, Smart Home Starts Here!, you will be the creative and analytical powerhouse responsible for dual functions: crafting highly engaging lifestyle content and executing high-converting paid ad buys. Your ultimate goal is to generate buzz, secure pre-registrations, and drive thousands of tech enthusiasts, BTO owners, and interior designers to our flagship event at Suntec.

Key Responsibilities

1. Paid Media & Ads Buying (50%)

  • Campaign Strategy & Setup: Plan, build, and execute end-to-end paid media campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok Ads, Google Display Network (GDN), and YouTube.

  • Audience Targeting: Build custom and lookalike audiences targeting specific demographics (e.g., new BTO key-holders, homeowners planning renovations, smart tech enthusiasts, and interior designers in Singapore).

  • Budget & ROI Optimization: Monitor daily ad spend, track KPIs (Cost-Per-Click, Cost-Per-Lead, Click-Through Rates), and aggressively optimize campaigns to maximize event pre-registrations and voucher downloads.

  • A/B Testing: Continuously test ad copy, hooks, formats (carousels vs. videos), and landing pages to find the winning combinations.

2. Content Creation & Social Media (50%)

  • On-Trend Content Production: Conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit short-form video content (TikToks, IG Reels, Shorts) and aesthetic static graphics showcasing participating global smart brands, event exclusive Sure-Win prizes, and tech previews.

  • Copywriting: Write punchy, engaging social media captions, email newsletters, and ad copies that embody the Smart Home Starts Here! theme.

  • Influencer & Partner Collaboration: Coordinate with tech influencers, media partners, and exhibiting brands to cross-promote content and drive organic reach.

  • On-Site Event Coverage: Step onto the exhibition floor at Suntec during the event to capture live content, interview visitors, shoot vox-pops, and run real-time updates/stories.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: 1-3 years of hands-on experience running digital marketing campaigns, specifically managing paid ads and content creation (Agency or Event experience is a massive plus).

  • Technical Ads Skills: Proven track record with Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager. Basic understanding of Google Tag Manager and tracking pixels.

  • Creative Toolkit: Proficient in mobile video editing apps (CapCut, Premiere Rush) and graphic design tools (Canva, Photoshop).

  • On-Camera Confidence: Willingness to step behind and occasionally in front of the camera to host quick event previews or product demos.

  • Industry Passion: A genuine interest in consumer technology, smart home ecosystems (Apple Home, Google Home, Samsung SmartThings), or interior design.

  • Attributes: Highly organised, data-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented event environment.
