DDS is responsible for driving the implementation and coordination of digital tools, processes, and workflows across construction and design projects to enhance collaboration, efficiency and data-driven decision making
Core Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive project delivery and collaboration
- Perform Building Information Modelling (BIM) model checks and audits to detect discrepancies, reduce potential construction issues and minimize resolution latency
- Identify digital solutions based on pain points and business requirements.
- Assess viability, risks and business implications of incorporating digital solutions
- Develop automation solution and draft standard procedures for digital transformation process
- Analyze data to determine productivity gains with reference to time, cost and quality
- Liaise with vendors on the implementation of digital solution, testing and troubleshooting of digital solutions
- Provide coaching to project stakeholders on use of digital solution and handling of external training program.
Skill
- Strong hands-on experience with authoring and reviewing tools (e.g. Autodesk Revit, Navisworks)
- Familiarity with Common Data Environment platforms.
- Ability to perform clash detection (visually), model federation and manage/track issues efficiently.
- Understands very well on the standards and nuances of digitalization with BIM at its core.
Qualifications & Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in a construction project.
- Entry level candidates with good academic records are welcome to apply.
- Knowledge & familiarity with the following Softwares: Revit, Navisworks, ACC will be an advantage.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in BIM authoring and reviewing tools and other digital solution tools preferred.
- Diploma or similar in one of the following disciplines:
- Building (Architecture, Industrial Design, Projects & Facilities Management); Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Infrastructure);
Key Performance Indicator
- Establish guidelines to evaluate the viability of new digital solutions and processes in optimizing operations in terms of time, cost and quality.
- Spearhead initiatives to develop and incorporate the use of automation solutions.
- Establish guidelines on collaboration with vendors regarding partnerships build digital competency.
- Engage relevant external training providers for programs and courses on digital solutions
