We are seeking an immediate, full-time Digital Communications Specialist based in Singapore for an 8-month contract role.
Role Purpose
The Digital Communications Specialist is responsible for managing, optimizing, and evolving DHL's Logistics of Things content hub and supporting digital platforms. This role will work closely with an external agency to ensure bestinclass website performance, strong search visibility, seamless user experiences, and effective digital communication across web, email, and social media channels.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Platform Management
- Execute preplanned technical roadmap in alignment with platform needs.
- Manage maintenance, upgrades, and development of the Logistics of Things content hub.
- Providing technical support for local and country editors for Logistics of Things.
- Improve user experience based on feedback from stakeholders, industry's best practices and trending technologies.
- Ensure cyber security and brand guidelines are met for the content hub with global IT and branding team.
- Manage budgets for technical initiatives.
Digital Performance, Monitoring & Analysis
- Implement tracking metrics and build dashboards to report performance.
- Analyze digital performance metrics across website, social media and email marketing.
- Identify user behavior patterns, understand performance impact, and recommend data-backed strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement based on technical SEO and Google Web standards.
- Generating report for stakeholders to provide meaningful analysis and actionable insights.
Content Distribution & Amplification
- Coordinate with content team, global and local marketing teams to distribute Logistics of Things content across social media channels for earned media.
- Align social content calendars and distribution with digital team lead for the purpose of informing and distributing through media relations and employee communication teams.
- Drive paid traffic for Logistics of Things website and social content.
Social Media Content Support
- Contribute to overall social media content strategy for strong storytelling and audience engagement.
- Review and refine story flow to ensure clarity, strong hooks, and compelling narratives.
- Write platformappropriate captions.
- Align with media relations and employee communications team during initial content planning (storyboarding phase).
Email Marketing Automation
- Ensure high deliverability, email compliance (CANSPAM, GDPR), and data hygiene.
- Set up lists, audience segments, journeys, and automated triggers.
- Build visually appealing email templates.
- Conduct A/B testing and optimize for open rates, CTR, and conversions.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong hands-on experience with website related platforms: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Tag Manager, WordPress, Ahrefs etc.
- Preferred basic working knowledge of HTML, CSS.
- Working knowledge of search engine optimization algorithms, best practices or hav e a good understanding of the basics
- Good presentation skills and MS Office.
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment.
- Analytical, performance-driven, meticulous with data, strong research, and communication skills.
- Strong project, agency and stakeholder management skills.
Experience & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in digital project management and/or search engine optimization, including managing related campaigns, platforms, and properties.
- Diploma required Bachelor's degree preferred.
