About the Role
We are looking for a forward-thinking Business Analyst to support digital and operational initiatives across the attractions business. This role partners closely with operations, digital product teams, ticketing, mobile apps, F&B, and guest-experience stakeholders to enhance systems, streamline processes and deliver high-impact solutions.
You will translate business needs into clear requirements, support end-to-end documentation, coordinate testing cycles, and work with vendors, developers and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering
- Work with operations, digital, ticketing, and guest-experience teams to understand business needs.
- Gather, refine, and document requirements for systems, mobile apps, websites, ticketing, and F&B systems.
- Analyze current workflows and recommend improvements to enhance guest experience, operational efficiency and digital engagement.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), User Stories, Functional Specs, and Process Maps.
Digital Experience & Platform Enhancements
- Support enhancements across guest-facing digital touchpoints such as:
- Mobile apps (attractions, wayfinding, membership, bookings)
- Ticketing and reservation systems
- Loyalty and membership platforms
- Website and content management systems
- F&B ordering, kiosk, or digital menu systems
- Work closely with IT, UX, digital product managers and external vendors to align requirements with technical feasibility.
Operational Support & Process Improvement
- Collaborate with frontline operations to understand pain points and bottlenecks.
- Translate operations needs actionable system changes or enhancements.
- Track issues, raise change requests, and ensure timely resolution.
Documentation & Stakeholder Communication
- Maintain structured documentation covering requirements, workflows, UAT scripts, system behaviors, and SOP updates.
- Present findings, gaps and recommendations to stakeholders and project teams.
- Facilitate discussions between business and technical groups to ensure alignment.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Develop UAT scenarios, test cases and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate user testing sessions, track defects, and manage closure.
- Validate that deliverables meet business needs prior to go-live.
Project Coordination
- Support project managers in tracking timelines, deliverables and risk items.
- Follow up with vendors and internal teams to ensure tasks stay on schedule.
- Provide weekly status updates to project leadership.
Requirements
- Experience as a Business Analyst in attractions, hospitality, retail, digital, or technology environments.
- Strong understanding of customer journey design, guest experience workflows, or digital service flows.
- Familiarity with mobile apps, websites, ticketing systems, CMS, POS, or F&B digital tools.
- Able to translate business needs into detailed functional documents.
- Experience in UAT planning, test scripting, execution and defect tracking.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and process-mapping skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced operational environments with multiple moving parts.
Good-To-Have
- Experience in attractions, theme parks, tourism, retail or high-volume guest environments.
- Exposure to Adobe AEM, PowerApps, SharePoint Online or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with API concepts, integrations and digital platforms (non-technical awareness is sufficient).
- Knowledge of Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
