Job Summary
The Senior Engineer is responsible to lead the maintenance team to ensure that work is being performed efficiently in accordance with the specifications and repair practices. In addition, he/she needs to supervise and review the tasks executed by maintenance members.
Responsibilities
- Lead the maintenance team to deliver efficient and compliant maintenance work aligned with specifications and repair standards
- Provide technical guidance, advice, and training to maintenance members to enhance daily maintenance and troubleshooting effectiveness
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules, overhaul programs, and improvement activity plans to optimize tool operating conditions
- Establish and maintain comprehensive maintenance documentation and work instructions for new or revised practices to ensure consistency and quality
- Design and execute annual training programs to ensure team compliance with regulatory requirements
- Identify and implement continual improvement initiatives to resolve recurring maintenance issues and enhance operational reliability
- Enforce workplace 5S and safety protocols to eliminate unsafe practices and ensure regulatory compliance
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 8 years experience in high-speed stamping processes
- Strong analytical skills with in-depth knowledge of metal stamping processes, die maintenance, die design, and construction
- Proven ability to implement and control safety, quality, 5S, cost, and efficiency measures in maintenance operations
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal communication skills
- Responsible, meticulous, and positive work attitude
