Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and debug automated tasks across applications, systems, and infrastructure to ensure operational efficiency
- Troubleshoot priority incidents and lead blameless post-mortems to identify root causes and prevent recurrence
- Collaborate with development teams throughout the software lifecycle to deliver sustainable software releases
- Analyze historical incidents and usage patterns to predict issues and implement proactive solutions
- Design and promote self-healing and resiliency patterns to improve system stability
- Lead and participate in performance testing to identify bottlenecks, optimize system performance, and assess capacity needs
- Adhere to architecture standards, risk management, and security policies to maintain compliance and system integrity
- Work effectively in a global team environment, collaborating with product owners and business teams to develop, build, and support applications
- Communicate development progress and issues clearly with global teams and escalate as needed to resolve development impacts
- Provide postproduction application support to ensure ongoing system reliability
- Participate in quality assurance activities including peer and code reviews to maintain high code quality
- Build and maintain processes for data transformation, metadata management, dependency tracking, and workload management
- Manipulate, process, and extract value from large datasets to support business needs
- Apply working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and scalable big data stores to support data workflows
- Support and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment to achieve project goals
- Demonstrate proactive communication, accuracy, and integrity in all work activities
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role
- Availability to start immediately or within a short notice period
