As we enter a strategic growth phase, we are recruiting an Operations Manager who can balance rigorous security compliance with intelligent automation, ensuring our operational infrastructure scales efficiently without compromising our commitment to quality and integrity.
Position Overview
The Operations Manager directs the full spectrum of security operations while driving digital transformation and AI adoption. This role oversees the Command and Control Centre, manages complex multi-site deployments, and champions productivity-enhancing technologies to optimize limited SME resources during rapid expansion. The successful candidate will ensure Acestes maintains its PRD compliance, SSG-approved training standards,and reputation for operational excellence while transitioning toward investor-grade operational maturity.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Operations & Digital Transformation
- Develop and oversee the company's digital roadmap aligned with the Security Industry Transformation Map (ITM), ensuring adoption of advanced security technologies (CCTV, access control, alarm systems, security information systems) to achieve superior client outcomes
- AI & Automation Leadership: Drive productivity improvements by identifying and implementing AI-powered solutions (predictive analytics for deployment planning, automated incident detection, intelligent resource scheduling, and administrative process automation) to optimize operational efficiency and reduce manual workload during scaling phases
- Champion continuous improvement by analyzing security trends, evaluating emerging technologies, and recommending enhancements to systems, processes, and policies that support multi-entity operational integration
- Manage the security budget and resource allocation effectively across expanding operational footprints, ensuring cost discipline while maintaining service quality
Command and Control Centre Management
- Manage the 24/7 Command and Control Centre (CCC), ensuring efficient operations, optimal oversight of agency-wide daily activities, and emergency response readiness
- Oversee the centralized IP camera network and AI-augmented surveillance systems, ensuring proper configuration for threat detection, emergency response activation, and resource deployment
- Ensure all operational records (incident reports, e-occurrence logs, deployment charts) are accurately captured, digitally maintained, and audit-ready for compliance and investor reporting
- Prepare and present regular management reports on KPIs, security metrics, productivity improvements, and strategic recommendations for operational enhancement
Operational & Deployment Excellence
- Oversee agency-wide deployment planning and coordination, ensuring compliance with company SOPs, PRD regulations, and client-specific requirements during high-volume periods (e.g., major events)
- Implement data-driven deployment optimization using historical patterns and predictive analytics to improve relief pool management and reduce manpower wastage
- Recruit, train, and manage a scalable pool of officers and staff, ensuring adequate coverage for all sites while controlling labor costs
- Conduct comprehensive security risk assessments for client sites and internal operations, developing mitigation plans that align with Acestes risk appetite and growth objectives
Personnel, Training & Compliance
- Conduct interviews and selection processes for security officers, ensuring candidates meet PRD licensing requirements and align with Acestes values of integrity and professionalism
- Develop and deliver security orientation and training programs leveraging Acestes status as an SSG-approved Approved Training Organization (ATO), with emphasis on technology adoption and AI-tool proficiency for ground staff
- Investigate security incidents and accidents, providing comprehensive digital reports to clients and management with root cause analysis and preventive recommendations
- Ensure strict compliance with PRD licensing, PSIA standards, OSHA requirements, and PWM (Progressive Wage Model) regulations across all operations
- Maintain rigorous documentation standards to support audit readiness
Stakeholder & Client Management
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with law enforcement, emergency services, and industry peers to ensure effective collaboration during incidents or crises
- Ensure all client sites are adequately equipped and supported attend promptly to resource requests and operational issues
- Serve as escalation point for critical operational decisions, ensuring appropriate communication protocols with all stakeholders including subsidiary entities during integration periods
Qualifications
Required:
- Degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Information Technology, Security Studies, or related field
- Valid PRD Security Officer license with PWM Security Supervisor certification or higher
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in security management, preferably within a security agency, multinational environment, or high-growth SME undergoing operational scaling
- Proven experience managing a Command and Control Centre or Security Operations Centre (SOC)
- Demonstrable track record in technology adoption, digital transformation, or implementation of automated operational systems
- Strong working knowledge of PRD regulations, PSIA standards, OSHA requirements, and Singapore security industry codes of conduct
Preferred:
- Security Industry certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, PCI) or IT-related credentials
- Experience with AI-powered security technologies (video analytics, predictive modeling, automated reporting systems)
- Background in managing operations during rapid headcount scaling
- Familiarity with government grants and support schemes related to security technology adoption (e.g., Productivity Solutions Grant, Enterprise Development Grant)
- Experience managing security operations for major events or multi-site commercial portfolios

People Leadership: Excellent coaching and supervisory skills to develop relief pool staff and ground officers, with emphasis on upskilling for technology-enabled security roles.
