DevSecOps Engineering Lead - Financial Services

Our client is a large, established organisation in Singapore embarking on a major technology transformation. As part of this investment, they are building new engineering capabilities and creating several new leadership positions within the technology organisation.

They are looking for a Director level DevSecOps Engineering Lead in a newly created role to shape how critical technology platforms are built, secured and delivered. This is an opportunity to join at an important stage of the transformation, with the mandate to establish stronger DevSecOps and platform engineering practices across the organisation.

Responsibilities

You will lead DevSecOps and platform engineering practices across the organisation, setting standards for CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, security automation, engineering tools and environment management.

Working closely with engineering and security teams, you will improve developer experience, increase automation and introduce more self-service capabilities. You will also provide guidance on secure architecture and threat modelling, while leading key engineering initiatives as part of the wider technology transformation.

Requirements

You should have strong experience in DevSecOps, platform engineering or security engineering, preferably within a complex, high-availability or regulated environment.

You should be familiar with secure SDLC, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, container security, Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP. Experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform and Docker will be useful.
Beyond technical depth, you should be able to lead cross-functional initiatives, work effectively with senior stakeholders and drive change across engineering teams.
