Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for integration, testing, and deployment across multiple environments (Development, Staging, Production).
- Ensure secure software delivery in air-gapped environments, optimizing deployments without external network dependencies.
- Oversee release management, including version tagging, deployment approvals, and artifact registry management for secure distribution.
- Utilize deployment orchestration tools to streamline application and service rollouts.
- Develop reusable blueprints/templates to automate system setup and configuration, with rollback and version control mechanisms.
- Configure and manage load balancers to ensure consistent network routing and failover behavior.
- Design and execute automated tests for software functionality, device reliability, and configuration standards.
- Collaborate with developers to define quality requirements, create test plans, troubleshoot issues, and improve test coverage.
- Conduct hardware functional testing and end-to-end system testing to evaluate reliability and performance.
- Provide feedback to development teams on design improvements for better testability and support troubleshooting of production issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in DevOps or DevSecOps roles, especially in air-gapped or secure environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and GitLab CI/CD. Familiarity with Kubernetes orchestration is highly advantageous.
- Experience in infrastructure automation and managing artifact registries (e.g., Nexus, Harbor).
- Solid experience in manual and automated QA, focused on device and software validation.
- Expertise in managing CI/CD YAML pipelines and proficiency in infrastructure automation and orchestration.
- Comfortable working in Linux environments and familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, and container registry management.
- Bash scripting skills for automation tasks.
Preferred Certifications:
- Kubernetes (e.g., CKA, CKS).
- GitLab (e.g., Certified CI/CD Associate, Certified Security Specialist).
- DevOps/Site Reliability (e.g., Certified GitOps Associate).
- HashiCorp (e.g., Terraform Associate).
- Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
- Cloud DevOps (AWS, Azure, GCP).
