DevSecOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure & Operations Engineer to support and manage enterprise-grade ICT infrastructure environments. The role involves overseeing daily infrastructure operations, coordinating with vendors and contractors, ensuring compliance with security and ICT policies, and delivering infrastructure projects to meet availability, performance, and resilience requirements.
Candidates with backgrounds in DevOps, DevSecOps, IT Infrastructure Operations, or Data Centre Operations are encouraged to apply.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Infrastructure Operations
- Oversee day-to-day operations of ICT infrastructure including servers, hosting platforms, network infrastructure, end-user computing, and data centre facilities
- Ensure infrastructure availability, performance, continuity, and capacity- Monitor infrastructure performance and conduct system and security log reviews
- Manage incidents and problems related to infrastructure and systems

Governance, Security & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable ICT policies, security standards, and SOPs
- Follow up on audit findings and ensure timely remediation- Coordinate security vulnerability scanning and track remediation actions

Project & Vendor Management
- Plan and manage infrastructure and operations projects
- Coordinate and manage external contractors and service providers
- Lead infrastructure procurement activities including requirements definition, tender preparation, evaluation, and award
- Manage hardware, software, and subscription maintenance contracts
- Manage procurement and lifecycle of end-user computing devices

Business Continuity & Resilience
- Coordinate disaster recovery planning and execution of annual disaster recovery testing
- Plan and execute annual table-top exercises

REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Degree in IT, Engineering, Facilities Management, or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure or data centre operations
- ITIL, PMP, CITPM, COMIT or equivalent certification

Preferred Certifications
- CompTIA Network+
- AWS Cloud Practitioner or equivalent
- CISSP, CISA, CCAK, CCSP or other security certifications
