Role Description
A DevSecOps Engineer / Cloud Security Engineer / Infrastructure Security Engineer ensures the security, reliability, and compliance of IT systems, cloud environments, and infrastructure. This role integrates security practices into the software development lifecycle, monitors threats, and implements protective measures to safeguard company assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement security best practices in cloud, infrastructure, and DevOps pipelines
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities
- Conduct risk assessments, penetration testing, and security audits
- Collaborate with development, IT, and operations teams to integrate security controls
- Manage identity and access management, encryption, and network security policies
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and security frameworks (ISO, SOC2, GDPR, etc.)
- Automate security processes and build tools for continuous monitoring
- Document security incidents, policies, and procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- 37 years of experience in cloud security, DevSecOps, or infrastructure security
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security tools
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with security frameworks, threat modeling, and incident response
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
