DevOps Engineer/Site Reliability Engineer

Job Title: DevOps Engineer/Site Reliability Engr.

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and maintain cloud-based applications and infrastructure. This role focuses on CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), working closely with development, security, and operations teams to ensure system reliability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.

• Deploy, monitor, and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

• Implement and manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.

• Apply security best practices to ensure compliance and protect cloud environments.

• Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

• Collaborate with development, security, and IT operations teams to streamline workflows.

• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.

• Maintain version control and CI workflows using Git, GitHub, or GitLab.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).

• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, Shell, or Go).

• Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong understanding of Linux systems, networking, and security best practices.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud or DevOps-related certifications (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes).

• Experience with microservices and serverless architectures.

• Familiarity with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL).

• Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments.
