DevOps Engineer (2-Year Contract)

As a Cloud Engineer specializing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of cloud infrastructure and services. Your primary objectives will include designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, provisioning infrastructure, and deploying applications. You will work closely with development teams to ensure the seamless integration and continuous delivery of cloud-native applications. Additionally, your role will involve optimizing cloud resources, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability of the cloud environment. Experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus and will be leveraged to enhance multi-cloud strategies.

Skills

• Technical Proficiency
• Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and solutions.
• Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Google Cloud Build.
• Experience in provisioning cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
• Familiarity with networking, security, and identity management within GCP.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus.

• Hands-on experience in deploying and managing applications in a cloud environment.
• Understanding of cloud-native application development and microservices architecture.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Stackdriver, Prometheus, and Grafana.

o ETL (IBM Datastage), Netezza, Business Intelligence (SAP BusinessObjects), Attunity, Hadoop (Hortonworks)

o Functional Testing (HP QuickTest Professional), Load Testing (JMeter)

o Robotic Process Automation (BluePrism, UIPath)

Working Experience

6-8 years in designing and developing and support applications.

Experience in Agile software development

Education

Bachelor in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent

Fluent written and spoken English
