Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team to support post-handover activities for residential developments. The role involves coordinating defect rectification works, managing maintenance arrangements during the Defects Liability Period (DLP), and liaising with homeowners, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth resolution of issues.
Candidates with prior experience in facilities management, MCST operations, or customer service in the built environment are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Defects Coordination
- Receive, log, and track defects reported by homeowners
- Liaise with main contractor, servicing teams, and suppliers to arrange inspections and rectification works.
- Coordinate and monitor maintenance arrangements with the main contractor and servicing team during the DLP
- Follow up on outstanding items to ensure timely completion
- Conduct joint inspections with contractors and homeowners where required
- Maintain accurate records and prepare periodic status reports
- Homeowner Relations
- Be the primary point of contact for homeowners on post-handover matters
- Provide clear communication on processes, timelines, and rectification status
- Handle feedback and complaints professionally, escalating complex issues to senior staff where necessary
- Assist in organising homeowner engagement sessions or information briefings
- Maintain the defects management database and filing system
- Administrative & Reporting: Prepare summary reports for management on recurring defects, contractor performance, and DLP maintenance matters
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent in Facilities Management, Building Services, Real Estate, or related discipline
- Experience in facilities management, MCST operations, property management, or defects coordination is an advantage
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of construction terms and residential building components will be advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with digital reporting tools
- May involve weekend duties during key handover or inspection periods
- Gross monthly salary of $3,000 to $4,000 will be commensurate with the candidate&aposs experience
- Only Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered
