Job Description

Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with System Analysts and Technical Leads to understand and clarify functional and technical requirements.
Design, build, and maintain scalable Springboot3 Java backend API services in alignment with technical specifications and architectural guidelines.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application performance issues with strong focus on multi-threading and concurrency.
Ensure high standards of code quality, unit test coverage, performance, and security, in compliance with code quality gates and best practices.
Take end-to-end ownership of assigned deliverables, proactively driving tasks to completion with minimal supervision.
Optimize application logging and monitoring to ensure effective ingestion by Splunk, enabling meaningful diagnostics, metrics, and operational insights
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain consistent engineering standards.-

Requirements:

. At least 3 years in in Java and backend development frameworks (e.g., Spring / Spring Boot).

. Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and backend integration patterns and security like OAuth2

. Experience with multi-threading, concurrency, and performance tuning in Java applications.

. Familiarity with logging frameworks (e.g., Log4j, Logback) and observability tools such as Splunk.

. Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices using Jenkins.

. Hands‑on experience with Unix/Linux, shell scripting, and Oracle SQL tuning

. 1-2 year exposure to financial services domain. Private banking or Wealth management domain is a big plus

. Past experience involving integration with Temenos Triple'A Plus ODATA is big plus.
