We are looking for a junior L1 Desktop Support Engineer to provide basic technical assistance to end-users. The candidate must be willing to work in a 38-hour rotational shift environment, including weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and basic network issues.
Assist users with password resets, software installations, and basic troubleshooting.
Log, track, and update incidents and service requests in the ticketing system.
Escalate unresolved issues to L2 support as needed.
Ensure timely resolution of issues and maintain service-level commitments.
Support shift-based operations and adhere to roster schedules, including weekend shifts.
Requirements:
Basic understanding of Windows OS, MS Office, and general IT hardware.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a rotational 247 shift setup (3 shifts).
