Designer II (Junior Designer)

Join our dynamic team at Paperspace Asia, where we design and deliver inspiring workspaces in Singapore while working with regional teammates. We're looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to help conceptualize and execute commercial interior projectsfrom new builds to refreshes.

• Design interior office spaces, including architectural details and temporary elements.
• Create perspectives, material boards, and floor plans using CAD, SketchUp (with Enscape), Revit, and hand-drawing skills.
• Select design strategies, color palettes, and materials to create cohesive environments.
• Source furnishings and finishes, and assist in vendor negotiations.
• Coordinate on-site and off-site project activities, including technical aspects.
• Establish project timelines and collaborate with internal teams and external contractors.
• Stay updated on design trends and ensure compliance with local building and safety codes.

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or equivalent.
• 23 years of experience in commercial/workspace interior fit-out projects.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Vray, MS Office, etc.).
• Strong visual awareness, communication skills, and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with office fit-out standards (MEPFS, FDAS) is a plus.
• Willingness to conduct site visits when needed.

• Timely delivery of approved design renderings and concepts.
• Effective execution of approved designs within project timelines.

This role requires candidates to be eligible to work in Singapore without the need for a work pass, as we are currently unable to meet the Ministry of Manpower's criteria for S Pass applications.
