We are seeking a Design Quality Engineer to support the development and qualification of semiconductor equipment. This role focuses on test planning, reliability validation, and data analysis to ensure high product performance and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans to qualify new designs based on intended customer use cases
- Design and implement Accelerated Life Testing (ALT) and stress tests for high-value components
- Perform statistical analysis of test and reliability data prepare reports and summaries
- Evaluate component quality and collaborate closely with suppliers on quality improvements
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting in coordination with engineering teams
- Ensure all defects identified during qualification testing are properly logged and tracked through to corrective action closure
- Maintain 5S standards within the ALT laboratory environment
- Perform routine safety checks and maintenance of lab equipment and instruments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a semiconductor or related high-tech manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of qualification test planning, test instrumentation, and problem-solving methodologies
- Solid background in statistical analysis (e.g., DOE, Cpk, t-test, regression, reliability analysis)
- Proactive and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Minitab and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
