Design Manager - Semicon Equipment

Job Scope

• Lead a team of design engineers in the development of advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer requirements into innovative design solutions

• Oversee the design process, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards

• Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure the design meets performance and reliability targets

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity

• Participate in the evaluation and selection of new technologies, materials, and components

• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality components

• Mentor and develop the skills of junior design engineers within the team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the design and development of semiconductor manufacturing equipment

• Proven track record of leading successful design of semiconductor equipment.

• Proficient in the use of CAD software and design simulation tools

• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders

• Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and industry regulations
