Design Manager (M&E)

. Lead & Manages the MEP Design Team activities and Design Proposals including BIM contribution.

. To strategically lead and enhance design team efforts in the delivery process.

. Holistic ownership of the Design Management and serving as a Lead Designer.

Tackle technical & construction challenges and introduce new initiatives.
. Have a good technical base &construction knowledge. The role will involve working on all work stages of various contract types (Design, Build, Design & Build) you should be proficient in working directly with clients, consultants, statutory authorities, and contractors of the specific site /country.

. Requires coordination with Archi and M&E designers in the design and construction stages.

. Have a good working knowledge of regional Planning Guidelines (Esp. Singapore & Malaysia), Building Regulations and Technical Standards.

. Working on the delivery of a Feasibility Study, Conceptual, Schematic design, and technical drawing packages.

. Leads in research and complies with project-related data as required.

. Assists in review of drawings provided by Architectural Consultants / Designers to ensure corrections are made within multiple software platforms for 2D & BIM.

. Assists with client presentations, renderings, and simulations as required.

. Performs field inspections, measurements, or calculations.

. Review of construction material/ shop drawing / MoS

. Shop drawing coordination of Architectural, Interior and MEP drawings with sub-con/vendor & other stakeholders.

. Executes Periodical inspection(internal check for quality improvement).

. Handover submission arrangement with drafter team and project team (As build DWG)

Depending on project need, this position may be located On-Site or Off-Site and requires frequent travel to the project site.
