Design Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and review 3D design and construction models.

• Ensure compliance with project BIM standards, guidelines, and industry best practices.

• Act as the central coordinator between architectural, engineering, interior, and construction teams.

• Facilitate effective communication to ensure seamless design integration and project execution.

• Lead design and constructability reviews to identify potential conflicts or issues early.

• Implement solutions to minimize rework and improve installation efficiency on site.

• Manage the flow of design documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

• Maintain accurate as-built models and project records within the project management system.

• Serve as the liaison between design consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.

• Align project goals related to design, cost, and schedule.

• Review and process design changes and variations.

• Ensure all changes are properly incorporated into project models, documentation, and schedules.

Requirements

• Proven experience in design management or project coordination within the construction, architecture, or engineering industry.

• Strong knowledge of BIM/VDC processes and tools such as Revit, Navisworks, or similar platforms.

• Good understanding of construction methods, building codes, and industry standards.

• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve design-related conflicts effectively.
