What You Will Do
The Intern supports our Marine & Offshore Singapore team on fire detection and suppression related projects. You will be involved in pre-sales support, design and technical documentation support, and documentation from proposal through testing and commissioning.
How You Will Do It
- Provide pre-sales support to Sales team, including proposal costing and attending technical clarifications meeting and/or presentation with customers
- Perform design and prepare engineering drawings and documentation as per customer's/project requirements
- Provide technical support and/or propose alternative technical solutions to meet customer's requirements
- Compilation and submission of all documentations as required as per the project requirements
- Configure, program, test, commission troubleshoot hardware and software programming.
- Understand and perform software programming of Johnson Controls Fire Detection panels and hydraulic calculations for fire mechanical systems
What We Look For
- Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Willingness and interest in learn Fire Detection, Protection & Suppression systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD
- Resourceful, results-oriented, excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen
- Able to work independently and deliver results for multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Able to commit to a full-time internship for 6 months preferred
