Duties & Responsibilities
- To interpret engineering flow schemes and piping symbols.
- To generate isometric drawings from piping layout drawings and weld mapping.
- To perform material take-off from piping isometric and layout drawings.
- To perform piping stress analysis.
- To select appropriate piping materials.
- To check test package.
- To maintain a proper record and filing of all incoming / outgoing drawings.
- To prepare isometric drawings and weldmaps as and when required.
- To liaise with Clients on engineering matters related to project.
- To carry out engineering calculations and/or design as and when required.
- To provide technical and engineering support for the project.
- To carry out any other duties as and when assigned by the immediate supervisor or higher management.
Qualification & Experience Generally Required
- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Civil / Chemical Engineering or its equivalent.
- 2 years relevant experiences in petrochemical plants.
- Good technical competence.
- Good organizing and coordination skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer knowledge of MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD, PDMS, 3D SmartPlant, etc.
