- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Design Engineer specializing in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) or Civil Engineering to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, planning, and implementing engineering solutions for pharmaceutical facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop detailed design drawings, specifications, and documentation for MEP or civil engineering projects within pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure design compliance.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, equipment specifications, and material submittals.
- Ensure designs comply with local codes, safety regulations, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and pharmaceutical industry standards.
- Provide technical support during project execution, troubleshooting, and commissioning phases.
- Assist in budgeting, cost estimation, and project scheduling.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize design and construction processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in MEP or civil design engineering, preferably within pharmaceutical, biotech, or cleanroom environments.
- Knowledge of Singapore building codes, safety regulations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software.
- Familiarity with project management principles and construction practices.
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, or civil infrastructure design for pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Knowledge of validation and qualification processes in pharma projects.
