Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing automation machinery and equipment to meet specific client requirements
- Creating detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including electrical, controls, and production, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems
- Conducting research, testing, and prototyping to optimise product design and performance
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting to manufacturing and operations teams
- Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering
Requirements:
- Minimum ITE, Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 1 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the automation or manufacturing industry
- Proficient in 3D CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and find innovative solutions
- Knowledge of automation control systems, sensors, and related technologies
